AMPLIFY HELPS JBL PRO WIN BIG WITH SHORTY AWARD
Interactive social media campaign wins Shorty Award for nationwide truck tour and recording contest.
CHALLENGE
With the release of the EON ONE, JBL aimed to provide singer/songwriters with an all-in-one professional PA system that would help them get inspired and sound their best. So when JBL mounted the nationwide EON ONE Take Contest and truck tour to promote the new PA, they were determined to reach as many people as possible.
SOLUTION
Amplify developed an interactive social media campaign to drive attendance to 28 events along a 1,200-mile tour, boost participation and voting during the contest and increase product awareness. The campaign was awarded the Shorty Awards Audience Honor for Best Location-Based Experience and helped 20 semi-finalists have their music heard by a wide audience, including industry elites such as Quincy Jones and Andrew McMahon.
